the war head

Mr.Joe paced back and fourth trying to get the whole class to look up at his and listen. Finally he stopped pacing back and fourth. He stood in the middle of the class room in the front where everybody could see him. But it seemed as if no one was paying attention. Then he started to shape his mouth as if he were going to say something.
 " Oh class!' he shouted. Mr.Joe says that when he needs your attention quickly. But no response. Except for one. as he heard that one person that respond with "yes!" he suddenly jerked his head right around and stared right at me!
 "Nia, do you like candy?" he questioned with that creepy grin he always looks at you with when you did something good in front of everybody. i nodded my head non stop until everyone's eyes were glued on me with suspense.
 "well, i have these war heads that are in my pocket for people who are very good. would you like one?" Everyone gasped as as i took the sour flavored candy from the package that lay in his hands. As  i plopped it into my watery mouth i could not only taste the great flavor of the piece of candy, but i could hear other people at the other tables whispering to themselves, i said yes too i deserve the war head also,thats not fair! but i could barely hear them over the sound of me thinking to myself of how amazing that war head was.

Year round school is a no no

year round school is a no no

Year round school can be bad and very rarely year round school can be good. But most of the time it can be bad. Let me tell you a couple reasons why.         

      I think year round school is  bad because when  you have all of the breaks 

in  between, you might forget things acedemicly. For example, if they have a math test after there month long break off school, it won't improve the test scores because over the break they could have forgotten some of the things on the test.     "Many students wouldn't want to go to school year-round and would get tired of it, which would result in many drop outs." it says in an artical on the website pantagragh.com. I agree because if you have school all summer long then kids would soon get stressed and it would be stressful on the teachers.

     It's not effective, and it's more expensive to operate. It's been proven nationwide that it doesn't improve test scores." An article says in an (unknown) website. To be honest, I agree. If you are in school for the whole year, you would be learning new things and forgetting the old things. That is why it dosn't improve test scores.

        Another reason I think year round schools are a bad idea is because they barely get any summer breaks. I would rather have one big summer break than having small breaks in between."I made it clear that I was against year round education because children needed more time and freedom to be kids, not less." Dreah Lauriane in decemeber of 2007 writes in an article on voices.yahoo.com 

about how her kids need freedom and to be kids. It relates to my detail because kids should be free over the summer and be kids."While most students are at home or on trips with family, some are in school working all summer long." That's what she states in one sentence of her essay. 

     My last reason on why year round school is bad is because it would be harder to operate. Sence year round school goes year round, they would need to have air conditioning because it  would be hot in the summer. Having air conditioning all summer would be

13.slaves new the monetary system but they didn't need it.

14.both men and women needed to know math for different reasons

15.when a baker is heating and oven roulade use judgment by putting there hand in the oven and see if it is hot enough

Cheerleading is the best sport I could ever think of. Especially when your a flyer. A flyer is the one who goes up in the air. But inable to be a good flyer you have to trust your bases. A base is the two people who usually hold the flyers leg of foot. There are three types of bases. The back spot is the one who gives the most support from the back and is the most important part of the stunt. Then there is the primary base. The primary base does most of the heavy lifting. Like holing the flyer's foot while the secondary base holds her legs. The secondary base is the one who holds to keep the flyer steady most of the time.like if the flyer is doing a heelstretch then they would need to hold her leg that is not I. The air. She or he would hold her calf and her ankle.

     Christmas was really fun in my family. I have a few reasons why.
 The first reason why christmas in my family is really fun is because we do secret santa and exchange presents to each other. Another reason why christmas is really fun in my family is seeing the look on my parents faces when they see what we gave them. they always love what ever presents we give them even if it was a cheap craft we made in first grade. The last reason christmas in my family is really fun is because you get the BEST presents from your parents and spend time with your whole family and have a good time.
